Alice Welsh, potter
Alice learned to make pottery on the wheel with her mother, Janice, in 1966, and has been going to pot ever since.
Alice started exhibiting at Art in the Park in 1970, the first year of the show, and has only missed 4 years prior to Covid shutdowns and restrictions. She also exhibited at several Arts at the Marina in Leamington and Art by the River exhibitions.
Almost all of Alice's work is made on the potter’s wheel, using mid-range stoneware clay.
Alice also studied French and Spanish at the U of Windsor, 1968 to 1972.
